The Pakistan Mental Health Coalition hosted their Second Annual Meeting on 8th November, 2023

On November 8th, the Pakistan Mental Health Coalition hosted its 2nd Annual Meeting at Ramada Creek Karachi, bringing together stakeholders and PMHC general body members from across the country.

The coalition organized an informative panel discussion on ‘Effective Mental Health Interventions in Pakistan’ where they discussed best practices and innovative mental health interventions that can be implemented in the Pakistani context, along with experts’ perspectives on potential opportunities and ways to overcome challenges in service delivery, and strengthen existing systems.

The Coalition also introduced three new subcommittees – Youth Mental Health, Emergency and Crisis Response, and Mental Health Observatory.

This event highlighted the importance of cross-collaboration, and the role of collective effort in improving the mental health landscape in Pakistan.
